GGCET St. Xavier’s International School, celebrated Mother’s Day with warmth and heartfelt gratitude on 11th May 2025. The occasion was graced by Smt. Poornima Niraj Singh, Former MLA, as the Chief Guest. She was accompanied by Smt. Gita Singh, Trustee of GGCET & St. Xavier’s International School, along with Mrs. Nikta Singh and Mrs. Anshika Singh, whose presence added grace to the celebration.
The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a soulful welcome address. A beautifully crafted cultural programme was presented by the students, showcasing songs, dances, and skits dedicated to the love, strength, and sacrifices of mothers. The performances reflected the deep emotions and gratitude children hold for their mothers.
The Chief Guest, Smt. Poornima Niraj Singh, addressed the gathering with a heartfelt message on the irreplaceable role of mothers in shaping society and nurturing values in children. She lauded the efforts of the school in instilling respect and appreciation for parents at an early age.
Smt. Gita Singh also shared her thoughts, emphasizing the importance of celebrating motherhood not just on one day, but throughout life. Her words inspired both students and parents alike.
Mothers of the students were invited to participate in various engaging games and activities specially organized for them, making the day even more joyful and memorable.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the presence of the esteemed guests, enthusiastic participation of mothers, and the hard work of students and staff in making the celebration a resounding success.
